Details of Les Mitchell ?

I had heard rumor that Mr. Mitchell had passed. I didn't say anything because I didn't know the man. Just had heard of him. A week or so ago, I was told again he had passed. Does anyone know him well enough to let us all know? I heard he bred some mighty nice dogs.

Thomas,Dave Hill(Idaho) informed me that Les had passed away.I didn't know him well but my Rogue dog carries a lot of his breeding .He liked the Diamond Jim blood and had been breeding it for about 40 years .I had the privilege to talk to Les a couple of times.I questioned him about Rogues ancestors and some of his(Rogues) habits .He was very gracious and helpful and also very knowledgeable about the DJ dogs.I would have liked to have known him better .

Hounds People in Idaho should be appreciative of all the hard work Les did for them
He was instrumental in keeping the antis from shutting hound hunting down!
