Mike let tell how this rolled out here. Back about 14 to 16 years ago, we had a pass thru wolf here. It went to the John day area if I remembered right. Few years later one was killed on the interstate outside Baker City. Then we knew wolves were in the Wenaha and Imnaha areas a good 4 years before ODFW ever announced it publicly. Now there is a pack in just about every GMU in Northeastern Oregon. This is my personal take. So yes I would honestly assume you have at least two packs in the area.

I meant they knew he had two pups but assume there's a few more in the den they haven't photo confirmed. Up north more in shasta county, where I come from there's a fella that would bet everything he has ever owned that he saw a wolf while deer hunting north side of shasta lake. I know there up there by guy guys just no one wants to admit it.

The ODFW biologist out of Central Point Oregon have been monitoring Or 7 above Prospect Oregon....Not sure if that dude headed back south....I suspect a diversion in the location by design.........Don't matter however, they now are all across Oregon and will infiltrate South to California soon enough....Part of the master plan folks to eliminate all sport hunting.....Amazing how sport hunters blame tree huggers when in reality U.S. Fish and Wildlife is directly behind the introduction of this non indigenous species, a larger stealthier apex predator! Same Government that has taken over Sport hound hunting with hounds in both Oregon and California on the backs of tax paying citizens....

Has anyone thought maybe ODFW caught a female from NE oregon and transplanted her down this way so they could breed since they have seen OR-7 is not making his way back to NE oregon? Idk just my thoughts.

And now California Fish & Wildlife dips their paddle in the water.

Interesting perspective...I don't put nothing past ODFW for one second....Manipulation and control defines this out of control agency!
