Oklahoma Bobcat Rendezvous

The first annual Oklahoma Bobcat Rendezvous is history. We had representatives from eight different States, Oklahoma, Colorado, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Mississippi, Texas and the lone yankee from Vermont or nine States if you count a transplanted Californian. He is a houndsman who happens to be 93 years of age and a Navy Veteran from WWII, not sure if he was in on the Normandy invasion or not but most certainly could have been. Tomorrow is the seventieth Anniversary, THANKS to all you Vet's.
Three days of fellowship and good food was enjoyed by all. Fellowship or plain ol'e visiting is something, where we all come up short nowadays. I'm not talking internet visiting but eyeball to eyeball, front porch style conversation. This rendezvous provided that opportunity and was enjoyed and participated in by everyone. Lots of tales and stories were remembered , some true some questionable. We're planning on doing it again next year with some of the group planning on meeting every 90 days or so.
Lots of Cat races ( maybe a fox or two ) and some were treed. Quachita (Washita) National Forest and Kiamichi NF is some big country. I'm guessing 300,000 acres, plus. We hunted three days and never saw another hunter other than OBR people.
P.S. Be sure and RSVP next year , so we'll have an idea, as to the numbers.
I'll post a few pictures as soon as I figure out how.

I not computer literate enough to post pictures. I can post them on face book very easily. Why does this forum have too be so complicated?
