i have a half bred that is the best dog i have ever owned and maybe ever hunted with. he is half plott and 1/4 bluetick and 1/4 walker. he is all black with brindle legs and cheeks. he also has white feet and the last 1 inch of his tale is white. his mom is pure bred plott, not sure the lines and his dad is half and half. he was an accident but it turned out to be one hell of a cross. just bred him to a very good bluetick and cant wait to have a pup. he is 5 and i would say he has been on close to 100 bear kills.

I love those crosses, man I can go on on about some of the crossed up dogs I 've seen and had. Those mistakes make the best dogs most of the time. I have a 1/2 Plott 1/2 Catahoula dog here out of my old Dan dog and a Facahatchee bred catahoula, I love that cross, she has seemed to get all the good stuff from both breeds, I haven't seen that much, Any way she bays like a cur dog and tree's like a Plott, this dog would charge hell with a glass of water, for me. I love her do death. :D

We run a leopard, a walker, a 3/4plott 1/4 walker a redtick cross and a female plott, here in CA. We just had a litter of pups out of our plott female and a friends male. We are going to sell the males out of the litter. There was only 4 pups(2 girls and 2 boys). We are keeping one girl, the sires owner is keeping a girl and the two boys are for sale. We hunt bear, coon, and bobcats. The plott has been hunted on coon only. She will be hunted on bear this year, as the others, the leopard is a finished cat, coon and bear dog. Our walker has been on A bear and coons. My plott walker has been on bear and coon. my redtick cross has been on coon. And she also will be put on bear this season. Also, they may all be put on hogs, well execpt the lep, but we may put him on too.

Hey hoffman what is the sire and dam of your pup. My pup is out of cody 2 and jenny jewel she is 9 months old and doing well i'v had her on bear trees when you get to the tree she is there hammering. The only thing about her is when its time to load up and go home i have to run her down she wants to keep hunting which i guess is a good thing. My pup has a blockey head like a male would have but now i have a older pocahontas dog she has a head like your pup and she is a real dog got a lot of grit i have watched her fight with a coon on the ground that had not been shot out and the coon put some good cuts on her but boots came out the winner when she killed it she strutted around with it in her mouth. I don't know if you have had this breed or not but i will tell you they are awsome. So good luck with your pup happy traning and you have a good looking pup........Plott38

My pup is out of Gene's Linus dog and Ginger she's only 11 weeks not but when Gene gets back from plott days I am going to check and see if he still has a male pup out of Cody II and Jeney Jewel that I was interested in when I went to pick my dog up just wasn't sure if I could swing it at the time. Things panned out when I got back home so I think I am going to go pick it up if he still has him.
