eye's

My walker dog has been having more eye goo than normal, this is hard to describe but here it goes, her head is boney. It's like she lost the fat on the top of her head. You can see the middle bone on the top of her head and the bone above her eye sockets everything between them is shunken in. I suspect an allergy, but I won't think her head would sink in so to speak. She's at normal weight and acts healthy and is a spoiled house dog in michigan.
Wife said I should take to the vet, but a vet around here usaully starts at $150 and goes up. My old faveraite no B.S. vet died after 40 some years in the busines.
