brad texted me saying the weather is good and he feels good about the hunt. he is hunting a young female named bess. he has kept me posed on this dogs progress and she is a real classy young dog.this is his shot at stardom or,,,,the rocking chair lol. they have been out for a few hours now so I expect a text soon with good news

JC is this John Warners dog ? I remember that little female he had by the name of Bess and it was a walker with heavy ticking. I really liked that female.

jc just texted that rainy has been working one for the last thirty minutes! looks like the game is starting to move a little brad should be texting soon I hope.

rainy held the track for a mile the way a crow flies. she had him running but he pulled a Houdini on her ass. jc is going to keep at it and try to score before the rain...pretty impressive for a young dog to keep one going in that country by her self. brad must be down out of service haven't heard from him in a while. he wont give up easy, I bet he stays out all night.

the rain started about 11 last night . ran a cat or back tracked a lion not sure which. anyways didn't catch a cat. she trailed down to a road barking really good. hit the road and went up the road for a quarter mile. barking here and there. went back off the road and made her way to an old landing where cougars are known to make there scratches. it was about a 30 min deal and she covered the ground over a mile as the crow flies. she hunted hard like usual . don't know if this rain will let up or not. if I go out again I will let u know. after I dropped her off and was heading home I talked to brad and he was calling it a night too. then I told him I had seen 2 house cats cross the road on my way home , so I don't know if he stayed out or came in.

brad texted me at 12.30 am and said he hunted his area out and was headed home. sure hope the rain don't keep having a big effect on this shin dig.

brad and bess went out again early this am. it rained most of the time with five or ten minute breaks. he walked out some old skid roads but every thing was washed out. it would take a hot track to get one treed in these conditions.dont know if he will watch the weather and try this afternoon or wait till tomorrow morning.....no new word from jc

just got a text from varminator that bess is treed!!! hopefully he can see it and get her on the board

BESS IS ON HE BOARD!!! its raining, blowing, and lightning but the old geezer put his big boy pants on and went for it. I can picture the poor ba##ard all soakin wet with his britches clinging making it hard to walk.lol lets see if he stays out and tries to tie ringer>>>

I haven't bee out since Friday night. watched my youngest daught play 2 basketball games today and I just got done playing in a poker tournament . I took 4th place and won 250 bucks. im going to sleep for 3 hrs and hunt until 2 the deadline.

brad must be on a mission because he texted me around 4 am and said bess was treed again!!! the next text came in shortly after saying it made it to a hole and could not score it. I believe the old guy is trying o make a competition out of this??? good work on brads part and it aint over yet!
