Nothing sold yet here in Oregon.

Most of us hold out for the last sale of the year and that usually is the OTC, Klamath Falls sale.... In the past it has proved out to be the best for the sellers, for this reason OTC canceled the Albany Oregon early season fur sale....The KFalls sale is the last weekend in March and sometimes the last day yields a better price than the first....

I think supply and demand dictates how the buyers roll, now a glitch in one big market....

US trade sanctions levied by Obama against Putin to spank him and his bad behavior might play a huge roll in the market decline impacting prices by spanking all the fur suppliers in the US first!

Another beaming example of Unintended consequences one more time over a lack of leadership in America!

The NAFA sale for bobcats was Wednesday. Western cats averaged 232.86 with the top lot going for 800.00
Much lower than expected!

The NMTA sale in Estancia New Mexico and the Fallon Nevada sale both averaged about $325 on the bobcats, everyone else that I know of was well under $300 average. Basically there was about a one week bubble at the end of February/first of March when the cat market jumped about a hundred dollars, if you didn't hit that bubble you were/are SOL. Although the four corners sale in NM was the same weekend as the Fallon sale and they only averaged about $280(if memory serves correctly, four corners was next highest behind Estancia and Fallon, but they were still almost $50 back), so just hitting the right time to sell didn't do as much for you as hitting the right location at the right time. It looks like holding pelt for Klamath Falls didn't work this year, here are their results according to a post on trapperman, I can't personally vouch for the accuracy.
Bobcat (other). 272. 108. $191.86. 49%
OR eastern. 365. 106. $171.73. 29%
OR western. 365. 123. $ 56.98. 33.7%
