well there is only one more dog left in the contest. its sam with brad as the hunter. brad started hunting him alone this evening to practice up. wondering if anybody else in the contest did that? I know jc didn't. would like this to be fair and all so I propose that it would be against the rules for brad to do that? besides that,, how could a man purposely try to take the glory of winning from his first born son? the deciding judge [ mark] probably wont see this the way that I do so I am offering a 50 dollar reward for anyone that can put two full boxes of exlax in brads coffee jug Friday afternoon. must have proof that it was undetected. don't let him catch you because he don't take a joke very well! :joker :beer

1bluedawg, I was at Sonny's Friday and his wife has to have knee surgery and he has to stay close and take care of her.
Soooo, It's up to me to knock him off!!!!!! I think JC and John would be Happy if I caught a Cat or More ?? They have been breeding for a long time together!
I'm hoping John will start to hunt again??

If Turner can't hunt his weekend why don't you guys let Brandon fill in Turners spot as I'm sure the extra cash for his entry would make the winner smile. Andy

No twist brandon is not getting in the contest. Colbolt. U are sure a shit stirrer. Robin was offered and refused. I let him hunt over the allowed time. He said he is fine with it. So please drop it. I did my best to make this contest as fair as I could. Maybe someone else can do it next year the way they want it done. I have not talked to josh since he flaked out. And I will never talk to him again. I hope all contestants had a good time. I did.

I think what you did and are doing is a cool thing does it mean who ever wins has the best dog probably not but it shows the diversity of the dogs and the people. And also give's who ever wins some good bragging right's and puts a target on his back for the next contest to be held, Hope there is a next cause I for sure have two that are going to be gunning for Ringer or Your old man's dog We'll see this next weekend. Good luck Varminator and also good luck JC to holding on to the win.

I think it was a great idea and hope all that participated had a great time.

That being said Old Dogs pi and my fox have ascertained that age and experience are gonna knock the young whipper snapper off the perch!!

JC, I know I'm yanking your chain, but sincerely believe the situation with Robin was out of your control, yet responsibility falls on you. Lessons learned. I also will say you put on a great event. I was on the edge of my seat for much of it. Great job!!! There's always room for improvements in any competition. Look at the nfl's deflate-gate, for example. It's hard to have a level playing field with this hunt. Congrats on your probable win.

Or maybe he'll let you Breed to Ringer if he likes your female and you have enuff money? Just a thought!!
Oh ya, good luck with your dog sales too!!!

it baffles me how a awesome event like this could turn into a bummer deal? all jc wanted to do was put on another group event that everyone and anyone could join in on and enjoy. this was not a way for him to look better than anyone in any way. in fact if you look at the actual hours he hunted his stock you will see that he held back so nobody would feel that he had any kind of advantage. the man donated EVERY WEEKEND of this cat season to help others in this contest. the time he gave would have been better spent on his young dogs. he has never raised pups to sell in the 25+ years I have known him so the future dog sales thing is out the window. he counted on a judge to be there for robin and the judge didn't show, immediately after hearing this, jc dropped everything and hauled ass to fix it. he let robin hunt thru the evening movement because he missed part of the morning movement. then he offered to do anything robin asked to make it good and mark also did the same. robin stated he was all good and in no way did he feel that he got gyped. everybody on this board knows that cobalt breeds and raises some danm good dogs and the ones that entered did well and both judges went out of their way to say so. so his future sales should still be intact. I don't want to piss anybody off at all but it seems that you cobalt are the only one with a gripe and we need to end it here with no hard feelings. other wise I am betting that after jc thinks of all the effort he put into this and this kind of return that he wont be doing it again next year. and I got to say that I don't blame him . so lets get this shit settled and behind us! and no im not posting the freaking beer thing on this one
