Bobcats treeing in the same area?

I have been building a map base by recording my tracks and dog tracks from my hand held gps the last couple of years. I hunt a lot of the same drainages and was hoping this would help me find more consistent cat crossings and maybe pattern movement or just help me remember stuff. I noticed several spots where the dogs treed in the same creek bottom within a hundred yard or less of each other. The tracks where started in all different areas but led to the same spot. I can't see a difference in this area compared to other parts of the creek or mountain side nearby. Bedding area? any thoughts?

That has been my thought's, They run to what they know whatever it may be. Most the cat's in my area I assume are born in the rocks in the timber. And that's generally where they go when being ran. Running for home.

Nick I have several spots where I just drive to, to listen to the race because I know where it'll end at. Rocks or tree.

I've noticed the same thing over the years.Cats treeing on the same ridge or the same canyon or ravine .Years ago i was hunting with a old cat hunter who used to bounty hunt for cougar. We were hunting in the Cascade Mountains ,he pointed to a flat below the road with lots of old growth timber .He said you could strike a lion anywhere in this country and that's where they usually tree .These areas seem to be known by lots of different cats as you can take some out and still tree more in the same spot.I would guess they're feeding grounds, breeding areas or bedding grounds but there is something about these areas that attract a lot of different cats .Both bobcats and cougar seem to have their preferred territory.

Don't have any input on cats treeing, but I get more strikes are starts at road intersections than anywhere else. I Would save time if I would quit roaring and just hit intersections. I'm hunt in ms and la. I've seen 2 cats in a tree in 6 yrs.

i have seen it catching on the ground , i believe its a territorial thing, remove one and wont be long and theres another done moved in and using the others everything , struck them in the same place and watched them run in the same places, and die in the same places , caught 3 cat in the same briar patch in 4 months onetime , might be wrong and probably am but i believe its a territory deal and he living where u catch him at
