Never smiled so much reading that magazine as I did hearing about Allen Gingerich's experience on the west coast.

Tiny and Chawn certainly are excellent examples of how all we houndsmen ought to hold ourselves out to the public and each other. Hosts exemplar!

And gosh, I can't wait to try some of Nikki's famous fried chicken

Thanks, Libby!! Wow, how many years have Tiny and I hoped that California could somehow garner just a bit of positive attention in the UKC coonhound world. If the Zone Hunt stays on its current schedule I don't think we'll ever be able to have it here, so no hope of drawing any attention that way as other western states have done.
Funny how many people think we have no hunting because they think the entire state is nothing but a concrete jungle. Other people think titles must be really easy to earn because nobody enters UKC events.

This club could have never made it to this point without the help of Bill A., Bill M., Susie, Brady, DJ, and everyone who comes out to participate and pitch in and help at each event. I don't have to tell you what it takes to run UKC events!!

Wish you could have been here! It was a historic moment (even if I'm the only one who thinks so). We had a blast and I know you would have too!
