Hound Kit

So since this winter will be my first season really hunting these hounds. What should I pack along to take care of them in the field, apart from food and water. Any tips on injectables and wound dressings.
Oh and how common is it to be "chasin" bobcat and wind up with a cougar on the end of the track? Just want to ready myself for that surprise too.
