I am building a new kennel and can't decide what to put down in the runs for a floor. They will be 6 by 10 runs covered with a roof. I don't want concrete so I'm thinking either just plain old gravel or crushed rock. I won't have water their to wash of so these are what I'm thinking. I plan on putting wire down to keep from digging.

I put hog panels down with six inches of pea gravel over the top and it's worked great for me

I used hog fence with a few inches of dirt on top, dirt is cheap and easy to replace. I would think that over time the gravel would get shoveled out with the shit.
