More than likely bloodhound would run bobs, catching often enough to keep it interesting could be a problem. Good luck Al

A american bloodhound is only slightly more useful then our government. I believe a guy could find a athletic bloodhound if they spent a great deal of searching but don't expect to stumble over loads of them. I've seen several used as lion hounds X'd of course. But outside of the far northeast I haven't even heard much about them being bobcat dogs. The ones I've had were persistent but hardly fast .

Hey if ya can post a pic of your buddies walker bloodhound cross, iv always wondered what that cross would look like.
My buddy had a German shorthair pointer bloodhound cross and it would keep up with my walkers. It was built bigger more like a bloodhound and though we always ran it with my walkers on bobs, I think it would have had no problem getting a bob by itself, that dog had a lot of hunt in it and treed a few lions and a lot of coons by itself.
