Tim,
That is a beautiful bear! Reminds me of a hog that Chaser and I caught in Beaver Meadows back in the day of the hounds. Man we use tree a ton of them up there and had a ball. when they shut it down that took the wind out of my bear hunting sails. Here NM you better be ready for lots of company and mixed up packs if you want to run at all.
Is that Thad in the picture?

Sorry to rain on the parade but that is a Utah bear.
Boulder Mountains in Southern Utah. I could see the mistake with there being a Boulder, Colorado.
But this is a Utah bear.

Ah Yes Boulder Mountain. I had the pleasure enjoying a wonderful little hailstorm there about a month ago. As most know this is open range country and this idiot comes around me in a BMW showing me just how they drive in storms over in Europe I guess maybe the autobond or something. Only thing this rube wasn't county on was an 1500 pound angus bull standing in the middle of his highway. Lol! Oh the bull survived all right and I am sure the two fools in the beemer did that hit that poderosa I just didn't have time to stop and check on them because Iwas late for a cup of coffee in Escalante. LOL!

That is one dandy bear with a beautiful coat and color. Those Utah boys grow 'em a bit bigger down there too.

That's everything a guy could want in a trophy without a doubt, color, size and great pics before and after.
