Just wondering how you all are coming along on bear season . we been having a blast so far . been running a bear every time out since a week after opening day .

Im chompin at the bit!! Still six weeks out for us. nice to here your stories to take the edge off. probably try to get to vermont they open a month earlier

We are still having a good one . I got a few dogs loaned out to a good friend who is out of dogs and he is treeing bear with them to . bonus .

Hopefully going to get a jump on new York season and head to Canada this weekend. This is my bred female and first pic with tapatalk hope it works

Lots of fun chases, caught one huge bear on the ground but after 27 km of chasing dogs couldn't hold him. Seen a few in trees, and some good hound dog music, can't ask for more.

A good buddy and I chase bear in BC. Moving to Ontario this fall so can't wait for the bear season there. Few Lynx in ON as well as millions of coon, which is sometimes nice for a quick after work chase.

Was Working on the SK Wildlife federation... But gave up on government. They are so old school it's crazy. Can't even track wounded game with a dog on leash, and yet they don't even realize the lion population here, likely higher than anywhere else in North America. Could be a good revenue stream for them, but what do I know.

Yea Sask does seem really old school with their laws. Last time we went for WT I was asking about how many cats are around. But the old timers said they dont see them, just wolves and coyotes and feral hogs. But I always thought that would be perfect country for them to thrive in.

How the opener going in the southern WV counties!! Prob awe full warm but should be plenty of big bears to run. Hats off to the ones treeing them in probably the roughest terrain in the US!!
