I could understand her tying the dog up, if it was in her livestock. But she stole the collar if you stole her gate chain you would also be arrested. She tried to concel the collar she is no different from any other thief.

Did you fellas notice the number you can call to give your comments and concerns. You can bet I will take the time to make a call tomorrow and tell them what I think they should do with Kathy Andrews. Punish her as much as the law will allow  .

I listened all I could and read thru the site. It's the biggest pile of steaming crap I've ever seen. But it is also the reason we all have to support the groups and organizations that preserve our sport.

We now have a law in place here in Pennsylvania to prosecute anyone who removes a collar. We had a cse locally where a collar was removed and the dog was let go. The hunter was able to track the collar to the house where the thief denied taking it but then went into the garage and gave it back. In the meantime, the dog was wondering loose and was killed crossing a road. All due to having that collar removed.

I say prosecute these collar thieves to the fullest extent of the law

the sad part is the non hound people or non hunters that listen to that radio may belive her

hell i almost belive her-

i wish we had law enforcement like that in VT
:)

we have a hunter harrasment law-

most the time if you are hunting with hounds- you get the short end

had a guy screamin and shoot up in the air when i tried to walk up an old town road past his camp - signal was strong rite behind his camp

the guy is nuts and has been in court for shooting and trying to threaten the town road crew- nyways called the warden ----who told me to wait till he leaves his camp and then retrive my collar

which i found , twenty feet high in a small tree--

same place- ,same group . burned one collar and threw 2 in a pond

oh ya--- the famous quote from my fearless warden was----

DO you know he is an attorney ??????

i cant really blame him-- he was nearing retirement and didnt need the hassle

he was a better than average warden ---

i think his boss made it hard for him to stick up for a lowly hound hunter

being a lawyer won't help him if he got caught hunting over bait, just an idea.
now if this were down south Mr city slicker might find his camp burned to the ground along w/ his truck on a cold hunt. i'm not saying it's right. i'm just say i understand.
