Kinda quiet

Things seem kinda quiet and boring at home so I decided to post a couple vids from March. Treed this Fox the 1st time about 30 feet high, he made the mistake of leaving the 200 acre thick trying to cross 400 yards of big pines on way to 1000 acre more thicket, young dogs had swung out and fell right up on him , had to walk half mile to truck to get camera, he had jumped but went 30-40 yards and trees again in a much lower spot prob 12 ft. And 15yards off woods road. Some of y'all have seen the vids already. Hope the rest of y'all enjoy them

Thanks guys, once in a blue moon these culls of mine do something worth seeing, invention of cell phone camera makes it easier to capture the moments.

Thanks Al. One of those red/white dogs has about a full season under his belt, the other is worn out himself, just raised a litter of pups off him, he was always a decent dog. His siblings were all really nice hounds. Had one mate to him best locate tree dog I owned get hit in road several years back. They are just some local bred dogs that do the job in perfect conditions. The blanket back male at the tree is the one that's really worth owning.

That's neat I really like the looks of that red dog with the white stripe on its head have three almost identical to it, just curious about blood lines I breed mine specifically for that look and wondered if you could fill me in on what all went in to the making of that dog.

Toerpe17, Those dogs are all American foxhound, mostly runnjng walker one in the video was half trigg half running walker. Most of them are local bloodlines no one would recognize.

Bawlchop, we don't have alot of game that climbs here most will go in hole, But when they do climb (grey or cat) we don't miss many trees, dogs usually locate decent, sometimes it takes a while, but usually they do find him and tree. It's a trait we like in our dogs and usually whatt we breed has that trait show up. Prob would be alot better if we had more game climb

grouse,
We run grey fox, red fox and some bobcats.... running coyotes are treated like running deer in my pack, a big no no.
