Damn! Now thats a chase. How many dogs and the farmers must not care about running in their cotton?

Prob 25 hounds there, an as long as the cotton hasn’t opened up and you can see the white part, most the farmers don’t mind you running in it.

Yeah Muleman I'm still at it. Hunting as much as possible, deer season limits my daylight hunting so I been going at night a day or 2 a week and in the daylight Sunday mornings lately. Got a couple more weeks of deer season then I can hunt just daylight til our spring turkey season.

Perk that machine must be a cotton thrasher. We combine our cotton here in Texas, lol. That’s awesome. They are hustling for sure. With 25 hounds in there, she shouldn’t be able to squat in there for long before somebody steps on him.

Perk I meant to tell you I saw one of your pups that a buddy has. I’ve kinda watched him grow up and he is a really nice looking dog and with brains and a good disposition as well.

Yes sir, he has a cracked eye on one side but I can’t remember which eye. He was a smaller puppy when he got him. He’s had nothing but good things to say about him everytime we’ve talked about him. He’s definitely easy to look at.

10 4, I got a pair off that litter that do well and another buddy in florida has a male out the cross he loves. Half my pack is off that male dog's sire. His daddy is probably best reproducing hound I've had in a while. Usually he throws good speed, lots of smarts, big desire to catch/kill, and good mouths. Honestly have never had a pup off him be a cull.

That’s awesome. I don’t run any of y’all’s type of dogs, but if I did this pup would be what I’d be looking for. I said it already but he’s built real nice, but his eye gets me. I’ve always been big on an animals eyes. You can look at an animal’s eyes and tell when there’s something going on in there or if it’s just the lights are on and nobody is home situation.

That pups sire had 2 littermates with a solid blue eye. It comes from his father's side, but I'm not sure where or how far back in the pedigree it comes from. He has sired multiple pups with eyes that werent 'normal' colored. I been hunting dogs in his background for close to 25 years, and alot of good hunters and breeders did the leg work of creating dogs with the traits needed in my area. That pups great grandfather is the fastest, smartest and also the best game producing jump dog I've ever owned or hunted with. Brings back a lot of good memories thinking of the dogs in his background and their relatives

That’s the kind of stuff I like hearing about. Do you ever free cast your dogs Perk or just track and rig hunt them?
