I just wanted to hear everyone else's take on the debate. I think that McCain blew Obama out of the water. Obama stepped on his &%#* a couple of different times and McCain was there to push him over when it happened.

What I really get a kick out of is the main stream media. Let's look at all three debates.

1st- McCain hit the issues and Obama didn't answer a single question. Clear McCain victory. Mainstream Media= TIE

2nd- McCain and Obama start pin pointing the issues and discuss their plans for their presidency. Niether one were out right winners. Mainstream Media= Obama Victory

3rd- McCain went straight for the throat. He defended his own ideas and attacked Obama's plans. Obama sat their and took it because he knew McCain was right. Mainstream Media= Obama Victory

You beat me to posting this poll. Of course McCain won. I am just watching the media disect the debate. They are saying that this was McCain's best debate, but they are also saying he didn't win. I hate the media they are a bunch of liberal idiots!!

Much oblidged my friend!! It is bad enough I am working 6 days a week as it is..... The worst thing is I work at a place that is at the base of the mountain where I cat hunt and to have to look at the snow covered ridge all day long and think that I should be up there with Scarlett looking for tracks and scratches instead of tending to work is driving me mad.

I really hope that Americans will see the light and vote properly and not elect Obama.

I think they both made their point in the debate, but moving poll numbers is what really matters. I was proud of McCain, but ultimately I'd be surprised if poll numbers shift significantly in his direction.

The worst part of watching debate coverages for me is listening to the focus group discussions afterward. Most of the participants have such self centered views I have to switch the station. Here we are swimming in government debt after the bailout and they are still talking about whose grandiose spending packages gives them more! Are we as a nation so egocentric that we force our children to pay for our own self-indulgences?? I find that disturbing.

My only hope is that whoever is elected won't follow through on their promises of additional government spending.

I too thought Mcain really poured it on good. Wish he would have done that earlier..

But now? I'm not sure that it's going to matter much.. I'm definately not an Obama Supporter, and I'll be voting for Palin. But I think we are about to get our asses handed to us..

So for me I was watching Obama more closely..So I'm not quite so Blindsided..

Hopefully we will see that tax break.. he is talking about.
Hopefully He will Magically turn the economy around.
Hopefully HIm and the two Demacratic controled house/senate don't do much damage..

I think the biggest problem we as hound hunters will see will be the Wolves.. Good Luck getting them De-listed..

Luckly the Supreme court Ruled on the 2nd amendment.. So I think that would be harder now.

I think the reason people like Obama is because he reminds them of 'ole slick Willie Clinton himself. Obama has the ability to talk out of both sides of his face at once and most people don't even realise he is doing it. I can't even count the times that Obama said things that sounded like "I never had sex with that woman". As far as the negative campaign issues, it all started when "Hillarious Hillary" ran her mouth at the opener. Would someone please put a leash these idiots? !!

go take a look at obamas heath coverage plan. he promises heath care for EVERY american citizen. that alone will increase our taxes. he has alot of socialist views and these socialist views will strait up rape the american people with taxes. who else is going to pay for every american to have heath care except you and i. its not the govenments obligation to make sure everyone is insured, its the individuals. the less government intervention in a persons life the better in my opinion

isnt the listing and de-listing of wolves controlled by the state...because the wolves were de listed for awhile in montana then this liberal distric judge put them back on the list. fricken idiots...they had all the proof the wolves have and are still makin a VERY strong recovery in montana, workin on a ranch in wesrtern mt we experinced this first hand. this subject gets me fired up everytime.

This is what drives me nuts. People seem to forget that Obama is a lawyer. What is the subject matter of every lawyer joke ever made?
The lawyer is trained and well versed in making the truth sound like a lie and a lie sound like the truth. It just amazes me that people just take this lawyer at his word. Even his words are so skillfully crafted to allow people to beleive something other than what the actual words say. Technically he can say he didn't lie sometimes, but it is still deception.

If we elect this guy, I guess we get what we deserve. Hopefully there will still be something left of us in four years. If there is, we can learn from our mistakes and move forward. Maybe if we get a true taste of European socialism, we might be ready for America again.
