How she looks, is how she looks, it is what it is, LOL. This sow was old and fat, she has a great coat, and is going to make an awsome mount. I'm real happy with her. Sure I would have liked to have taken a BIG 400lb-500lb Boar, and we've seen and started some BIG tracks this year. But this Bear was the right bear, for the time. My young Maggie dog Struck it, along with my friends dog, and stayed treeing hard for a couple hours. We needed to reward our dogs for the last months worth of hard work. So I'm pretty proud of this Bear, this one help turn that corner on my two young dogs. They both did a GREAT job.

I dont know how that Redbone is bred. Vance M. got her from a person that had her as a pet and she was to much for them. He was told she is Pure breed. He let me have her because he needed the make room for a new pup he was getting. Vance told me he never got the dogs papers when he got her and didnt know anything about her breeding.
All I know is she is built right and has LOTS of DESIRE. Shes shown me nothing but potental sence I've had her, and thats what Vance saw in her too, thats why he wanted her to go to someone that would really give her a shot.
I'll be honest, I think shes going to make a Lead Dog by the end of this season. This is her first year on bear, and shes already Striking them off the box and will start a track, and she wont even give a dead bear a break, LOL. I really like that Red Dog, she has it going on, shes loaded with Heart and Desire, and shes smart about it. I wish I did know her breeding because I would like 5 more bred just like her. I dont know anything about Redbones, as far as good lines, top stud dogs or anything about them as a breed either. All I know is shes a real nice dog. I'm going to have to ask around about good Redbone males because I just might breed this dog if she finishs out the year, like I think shes going to.
