I was just wondering if anyone uses the dog proof coon traps. If so, what brand do you like and why. I am going to purchase some traps soon. I was looking for some info on what traps were the best. I need two dozen to get started and didn't want to waiste my money on junk traps. Any info would be helpful, Thanks!

go to Trapperman.com and ask, they are about 3 kinds and none are cheap. some time on trapper man you can buy used ones cheap. I use to buy lot of traps off there, lot better than e-bay.

I got some egg traps and Yancy DP coon traps and I really like the way the Yancy trap works. I'm compfortable releasing an animal or putting it into a cage with a restraint pull. The egg traps are harder to work with and I found the yancys for $12.95 each by the dozen. Lil Grizzes are spendy.
