This may have already been discussed but I have a simple question for you guys. What is your favorite breed and line of dogs and why, and what do you hunt them on? I know it will differ person to person and I am not looking for a argument or discussion on whats best just personal opinions.

I will start. I only have 2 dogs so I will have to go with them. They are blueticks, one is heavy hammer and the other is full utchman. The hammer is a hard tree dog with no quit on a coon and will stay treed till you get there or sometime into the next day. He is not real fast but is dependable and will kill a coon in a minute and grab a bear. The utchman is faster but not as hard of a tree dog. She will also kill a coon and is a little rougher on a bear. Neither is trashy or ill, and they are both good with people.

I hunt mostly coons and bear some. Neither dog is exceptional but they are both dependable and please me so I keep feeding them. I look forward to hearing your opinions.

Hands down the Piute Mtn Redbone line which is my foundation line I used to start my breeding business. They are very versital on all kinds of game and are tough enough to hunt in the rugged country I live in. Very loyal to their owners and have the classic old fashioned Redbone look. My Scarlett dog is the last of the line bred Piute Mtn line. There are many of my pups out there that I have crossed with other lines. I hope to breed Scarlett this summer to her half brother Ozzy or nephew Sully before she gets too much older. I absoulutely love this line!!

Duncan bred Black and Tans are the best I've seen in the woods.
Brains, Heart, Nose, and Looks, what else could a guy need?

Nice looking hounds Outlaw. Are all those lines relatively local to your area?
