What stereotypes about each breed can you all come up with? You don't have to believe they are true but what have you heard people say about some of the different breeds.
Stereotypes can be good or bad

Slick treeing Walkers

I will start with the bad ones I have heard then give the good ones.
Plotts are ill and dog fighters.
Blueticks and black & tans are slow.
Redbones are trashy and slow starters.
Walkers are hot nosed and slick tree.
Plotts are gritty.
Blueticks are cold nosed.
Walkers are fast.
I personally believe that you can find every one of those traits in every breed, but also that some strains are more subject to them than others. Also I think a dog can be taught good or bad traits through good or bad training.

Mose i think you hit the nail on the head and i have heard that the Goodmans are a little timid till they get to know ya but will have to see more of them to find out. July's are supposed to have a little more grit than a Walker and a Croghan is supposed to be a fighter but a little deery.
