Great Picture

We treed one last Friday, and my friend shot it, it fell like it was dead but after flipping, and rolling 300 yards down the Mt and getting bayed up two times on the ground, it finally ended up in a culvert pipe, with the dogs in the pipe baying it up, every exciting and action packed to say the least. The culvert pipe our bear went into was alittle bigger, thank God, but Great Memories for sure.

Thanks for sharing your pictures, Very COOL !!!!!!!!!!!!

Cool Pix Lone Wolf!! I think I might 'a heard your story already, after all you are my neighbor!!

I caught a big one 2 years ago on a culvert. I poked my head in the back end just to see what the it looked like when a strong rush of wind started past my ears, so I quickly jumped out, the bear "squirted" out the other end, took a swipe at two dogs that were tied up, and was gone in an instant. My buddy that was standing with the tied up dogs said the bear was at least 300#. That culvert was only 24" accross!!

We catch them in culvert pipes all too frequently down here. I don't like it one bit, its not always so bad when theres just 1 or 2 dogs but you ad more than that and someone is going to get shoved in too close...UGLY :( . Its amazing the spots they can fit into. Nice pics and I'm glad no one got caught in there.

Ahhhh, Don't tell him that! :P I've been with him when the Bear met his maker from about 1 1/2 feet away from the end of his 30-30.
