HAD A DOG SLIP HIS SHOCK COLLAR WHILE CAT HUNTING, MAKES IT HARD TO RECOVER ,BUT I GOT LUCKY AND FOUND IT . NOW HOW MANY OF YOU RUN YOUR E-COLLAR ON THE SAME COLLAR AS YOUR TRACKER? I FIT BOTH ON ONE COLLAR AND ARE QUITE BULKY. BUT SO IS HAVING THREE COLLARS ON A DOG IN THE FIELD. I ALSO HAVE TREE SWITCH'S ON THE COLLAR AND WONDER WHAT IMPACT THAT HAS AS WELL?LOOKING FOR SOME FEED BACK AS IT WILL BE EASIER FINDING THE SHOCKER WHEN I CAN BEEP IT . THANKS

I have a 6 E-coller system and put them on the same collers with the tracking collers. On three of them I mounted the e-coller in front of the tracker so the tree switch works right. I just used a short piece of coller for the e-coller and leave it loose enough to go in the charging cradle . The other three I just slip on the same coller with the tracker . Works for me.

THANKS TOM. SO IF I HAVE IT RIGHT YOUR SHOCK COLLAR WOULD ACTUALLY SIT AT AN ANGLE. I DONT GUESS THAT WOULD REALLY MATTER. I HAVE BECOME TIRED OF ALL THE COLLARS ,YOU ALMOST NEED A GIRAFFE'S NECK TO ACCOMIDATE THEM ALL.

Mike,

I do mine as Tom described and it works well for me. Chaser has however taken his Quick Tracs and E- Collars off the original collar and riveted them in place on another collat that is longer and had a lead ring in it. The way he has them adjusted works better than my method I just don't have one of those big riveters. He was the first I saw do this and it really works well for him he at times runs as many as 10 or 12 dogs on bear and he has the collar business down to a science.

Pretty funny to watch him flying thru the woods in that white Dodge driving with his knees, Tracker out the window with one hand and punching buttons like a piano player with the other. The guy can multi-task! LOL!

MIKE, THANKS. HOPE ALL IS WELL WITH YOU. HOW'S YOUR WEATHER ? WE ARE DRY AS A BONE HERE. I'M LOVING IT COMPARED TO LAST YEAR WITH RECORD SNOW. MAYBE THIS WILL GIVE THE CATS A FIGHTING CHANCE AS MOST REQUIRE SNOW. AS FOR THE MULTI TASKING, WELL I'LL LEAVE THAT UP TO THE EXPERTS. I KINDA LIKE THE TWO- THREE DOG DEAL MUCH BETTER. HEY, MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR. GOOD HUNTING . MIKE

Check out West Coast Telemetry. They make a collar called the tag along that combines collars.

GOODDOG, THANKS I WILL CHECK IT OUT. I TRIED SLIDING MY SHOCKER ON THE TRACKER AND DEPENDING ON THE POSITION OF THE COLLAR IT ACTUALLY WOULD TURN THE SWITCH ON THE E-COLLAR OFF. THAT IS ON THE TRI-TRONICS CLASSIC 70'S. MY LUCK THE DOGS WOULD FIGURE OUT HOW TO SHAKE THEIR HEADS AND TURN THE UNIT OFF AND HAVE A FIELD DAY!

PETE, I KNOW HOW IT SOUNDS. MY TRI-TRONICS COLLARS HAVE A BUTTON RIGHT NEXT TO THE CONTACTS WHEN PLACED IN POSITIN ON THE SAME COLLAR AS THE TRACKER THE FLAP THAT IS RIVETED FOR THE BUCKLE ACTUALLY PRESSES DOWN ON THE BUTTON AND TURNS IT OFF. THE OTHER PROBLEM TRI-TRONICS RECOMENDS THE LIGHTED PART OF THE COLLAR IS TO BE PLACED OUTWARD ON A DOGS NECK I'M IN THE PROCESS OF BUILDING THE COMPLETE SET UP MYSELF. I RUN WILDLIFE MATERIALS COLLARS THEY HAVE 4 SCREWS HOLDING THE RECIEVER TO THE COLLAR. SO ALL I HAVE TO DO IS PICKUP THE VINYL COLLAR AND ALIGN BOTH TRACKER/E-COLLAR AND GO.
