Yah, its rare at low elevation here in CA but we have had snow every year here for the last four years! We went out this weekend looking for tracks in the fresh snow and all we saw were deer. Some nice bucks though

About 40 minutes East of Stockton, Copperopolis/Lake Tulloch. Foothills

I've grown up deer hunting around here(and just about everything else) and recently got into hounds, about a year ago. I got two black n tan walker cross pups last year, then i bought a old walker coon dog, and ended up getting suckered into buying a two year old walker dog that is about a hundred steps behind my pups...
But a good friend of mine has some bad ass dogs. I've been trying to run my dogs with his as much as possible.

What do you have? Or where do you hunt?

yah, its addicting and expensive... tracking system, shock collars, dog box, food and ext... My advice would be to get a young dog on here that has some potential and start slow so it doesnt make you broke like me. And the funny thing is i dont even have what you can call a pack, i have a couple young dogs with alot of potential but thats about it.
