I am always interested in seeing names of dogs.

What was the name of your first dog?

I think my first dog's name was Skippy? I couldn't imagine naming a dog that now.

Now I name them names like Uncle Remus, Cletus, Cocaine, and etc..

Tuffy was the first dog and the first I named was ruckus.

First dog I had was Dusty.. German Shorthair..
The first hound was named Red.

Dixie, my first dog. Still have her dont know what I would do with out her.

King was mine my brothers out of the same litter was joker.

A seven year old grade black and tan pup trainer, I was 11 and just starting to hunt on my own, could say she taught me quit abit also. Her name was Rose, I had her till she died at 12 years old. Some of me got buried with her.

The first dog I can remember was a black lab/cheaspeak mix. His name was Charlie Dog. Had to add the dog so he wouldn't be confused with my uncle named Charlie.

The first hound that I named was Brisco... Though Eleanor got her name from my suggestion....

a beagle named spot. I missed a whole bunch of bunnies over that hound in my first years of hunting. First Walker was named John when I bought him- changed his name to Doc. enjoy, Paul Conway.

first hound i had was a walker female named gracie some guy gave her to me to get started in huntin hounds she sucked hunting alone but if a buddy was with me she could tree a coon like it was going out of style.

My first dog was a yellow lab named Kody, short for Kodiak Bruin ( kinda corny I know). First hound was a Washburn walker named Clyde... Quite a few followed.

first dog i remeber was a black lab named molly, my sister and i called her molly raw for some reason, i think cause everytime i saw her when i was a baby i would say "MOLLY!" then i'd grab her and go "Raw!", she just died a week ago and i had known her all my life, she belonged to my babysitter till i was 4 and my babysiter was gonna send her to the pound cause she was digging up the yard,which was stupid cause molly had papers and was fixed , why would you just give up a dog that you already put so much money into for a stupid reason like that? but instead my mom took her, i was only 4 months older than molly and my babysiter watched me ever since i was born, so i really did know molly my whole life, but the first dog i named was a pitbull mix i named rocky,he was a crazy ol' mutt, but he went in some hick's yard and got shot and killed, poor ol rocky, he didn't have no good sense

My first dogs when I was a little tyke was a brother and a sister heinz 57 my Dad brought home for farm dogs. My Brother and I named them Tippy and Convy for some reason. They were both good dogs. Tippy lived to be 16 just hangin' around the front porch. Convy lived about 4 years before he didn't come home one day. The power company had rebuilt some lines through our farm and he got tangled in some wires they left on the ground. He dug himself a hole and crawled in so we never saw him when we went lookin' till a couple months later when my Dad was in a tractor and saw him from up high. Nothin' sucks worse than losing your first dog when you are a kid.

My first hound was a little bluetick female named Molly. I still have her and she loves to chase stinky old black bears!!!

my first dog that I got was a boxer named sarge...he used to run with me in the hills for hours. when he died so did my running career. My hounds I have now are named nimmer (which means tiger), Assad (which means Lion) and Amira (which means Princess) and they terrorize the local feline population.

my first dog -- was older than me--- lol spike -- golden retriever --the first i can remember of him he was pretty old - but have seen lots of pics of him when i was a baby-- my mother says i was raised by a dog - he was my babysitter , and thats whats wrong with me-

i say its the couple years in my life that i didnt have a dog -- dog deprived-- make anybody crazy - lol


i cant remember first few hounds i had but first keeper was blue --he was out of smokey river diamond jim - he was a real one --
