Ok, Folks It's been a while since we've had some fun. I need a couple laughs to get through this week.
Everyone has heard of MURPHY'S LAW right. Well let's make one for Hound hunting..
things like.. A dogs ability to run a track, Is directly related to it's ability to ???? Or Never trust a dog that ???
Anyways, I'm sure we can come up with some good ones with this group...
I'll start off with a Lame one.. it's an original that relates very well with Dogs and cat hunting...

As soon as you brag on a dog, it will make a liar out of you.

I think that Murphy's Law says it all. No changing it at all
What can go wrong will go wrong!
Here is one for your post.
A houndsmen's story grows 10 fold from the tree to the bar.

There is a ton of good material for sure.
Here is one for you story tellers. Never take a newbee with you to chase a barn cat. Why? Because he will blow your dry ground bobcat stories out of the water when he flashed his camera phone photos of Tinkerbell being treed by those ferocious blueticks. LOL!
I had a guy telling me how he had been just catching them bobcats easy as pie before it snowed. Had me feeling down right low until I ran into his new hunting partner out in the hills and I congratulated him on all the bobcats. He gave me a blank look and then winked and said. I get it that's the code word for barn lions right? LOL!

It is never the dogs that we were going to get rid of that end up getting knocked off the cliff or run over on the road or ate by the bear. It's ALWAYS our best dog.
or
The day a hound dogs dies he is elevated from and average pack dog to one of the best dogs I ever owned!

Always brag on your hunting buddy`s dogs, never yours.
This will happen if u do.
When u have a hot dog buyer & you are
showing it off in the woods.
This will happen, your dog trees a skunk under the pickup.

I don't own a good cat dog. They are always in someone elses box. Just ask them.
