Well guys, here are the pups I was telling you I was getting. They are 7 weeks and 2 days old right now. I got them from Ken Duncan in Utah. They are 3 time Albert breeding on the top and Ken's own old blood on the bottom. I had an Albert bred pup from him about 10 years ago that was good...I hope these two turn out...They sure are fun.

Those are some good looking pups!!! What Albert male are they out of and what Duncan female are they out of? Ol' Duncan has some nice hounds he is runnin out of his kennel.

What was the male and female your hound was out of 10 years ago?

Good cross! Smokey is a fine hound and Emmy packs a lot of his old lines in her breeding. I like the way Duncans dogs look, they look how B&T's are suppost too, hard hunting, agile, with great voices. Again good lookin pups hope they work out for you good luck and happy hunting to you.

Thanks, I agree on the looks. It's too bad there are so many hounds out there that are simply not too houndy looking. Regardless of how a dog hunts, I want a houndy one. There are enough good ones out there to have to settle. JMO

Goog looking pups! Reminds me of my Duncan hound (Mingo x Shadow). Here's a couple of pictures, before and after.

OK, I can't seem to get the pics to upload. I'll try later.

Travis, they do have a resemblence to that cross. I have a (Mingo x Shadow) 8 months old doing quite well. Boy was he a houndy little bugger when he was a pup. He is as tall as my biggest male, just hasnt put the mass on yet, houndy as they come and agile as all get out. Just a natural out hunting. Shadow will be getting bred to Jim B's Titan dog up in MT this June, and her full sister Bourbon will be being bred up that way here any day when she comes in heat. Hopefully we can get another full sister (Raven) bred up that way this summer. Will be heavy Duncan bred hounds!!!! Except not bred at Dalton Creek with Ken, he will be taking a few females up that way too. Bring back some of that good old blood.

Whats your pup look like Travis, and have you seen the one in BC?

I'm excited for you CO B&T I have enjoyed working with pups out of Duncan's Kennel (Dalton Creek).
