Hey Catdogs

Your deer must have lots of brush to contend with as these desert mulies hit around 40 and maintain that for a 100 miles:)

The only one out there right now that I know of is the Garmin Astro. There are a couple more in the works but not released yet.

gps brings a whole new meaning to "miles" and miles per hour

ive learned that 2 miles--- may be . 38 :D depending on terrain and cover

where the dogs do 6 mph==== check your own speed , with gps

Yeah, thats right Pete. The GPS calculates the speed on a flat map, not the terrain. You can even get the information that the dog is bayed up 300 feet away, but it'll take you 30 minutes for you to get there.

Had a 15 minute race that went right at 2 miles. Average speed was 8 mph. Top speed was about 21 mph when the hog hit the open field. The hog finally bayed 300 yards from where he started.

I am overlaying all my hunts on goggle as well.
