Has anybody heard the story about whats happening to jim walker the owner of Oregon chief .He lives in enterprise Oregon they are trying to make him leave Oregon or go to jail.So my question to any of you do you have any insight to whats going on ?

I wonder whats going on? i was hoping to get a pup from him that might cross good with my stylish pup. hope he makes it here to California.

i knew of jim walker he lived up allen canyon in wallowa oregon .when i lived in n.e oregon i never heard or met the guy.i lived two miles from him in a community of about 2000. he was just a dog breeder/dog jockey that didn't hunt hounds. he just sold them. he was busted for cruelty to animals for having them tied to old junk cars, trees, no proper shelter.care or feed, not to mention cattle as well. he did however understand that all he had to do was guarantee a pup with another one and he was good to go. jim lived on a modest income and subsidized it with the sale/ re-sale of animals. many dog men that i know, give up on jim with "another pup". he was convicted of these crimes. but didn't listen to the wallowa county judges orders of no stock or hounds. terms of probation. he was later caught with more animals on his place and taken back into custody.last summer when i was in enterprise or. i was told jim was lodged in the local jail, his dogs were in impound and being adopted to good homes. i'm just guessing, but you will not be seeing much of him in the future. animal crimes in oregon trump those of humans. but hey it is guys like jim that are screwing all the other honest folks from dogs and ownership.guys like jim are the reason for "the breeder bills" laws/ rules governing such practices. when given the rules he didn't abide by them twice, so oh well..........

frog. the problem is it is still oregon! california revisited. we are hated here. you can't hide in fossil or mitchell, or under a rock. the liberals will hunt you down. i was reading in the local paper- puppy mill hearing draws crowd at the state capital last monday. the debate is the same as for gun owners. the only victims would be those legitimate or responsible gun owners not the true villans, translation -those who want to breed there own dogs will no longer be allowed to thanks to guys like jim walker

WELL MIKE I AGREE WITH YOU ABOUT OREGON BECOMING ANOTHER CALIFORNIA AND I GUESS WHATS BOTHERING ME MOST OF ALL IS WHO IS NEXT YOU ME MY SON . MY ONLY HOPE IS THAT MY SON GETS TO ENJOY WHAT HE LOVES MOST BEFORE IT IS ALL GONE

LOL, Oregon becoming another California, LOL Oregon is worse than California. You guys have all the mushroom eating, pot head, hippy liberals in your state, its only going to get worse for you guys. Sure California's leardership is a majority Demacrates but only because of the bigger citys SF, and LA. The State as a hole is fairly conservative. We at least can still run Bear, Bobcats, Fox, Coons, Pig, and Deer. You Oregon Boys are limited to what Bobcats, Fox, and Coon ? Kalifornia may not be one of the better states but its far from the worst.
