Have you ever wondered if your dogs have what it takes to run a Grizzly bear? The mis conception is that once you dump its just a matter time before the bear turns and kills your dogs. I have run more 5' Black Bear sows that are lightning fast and far more dangerous than a grizzly bear. The only differnence is that 99% of grizzlies do not climb trees, but THEY DO! More than one grizzly has been put up a tree by good dogs. As grizzlies are on draw in British Columbia aquiring a Grizzly draw can be near impossible, but oufitters up here are allocated one tag every year. Yes I am an Outfitter in South East BC, 2 hrs north of the Montana border. The prices and rates can vary depending on the kind of hunt you would be looking for. You could bring up your own pack of dogs by yourself or split the cost between friends who just want to come and hunt Grizzlies and Blacks for 10 days. I am a very experienced and avid Houndsman and my camp is well equipt to handle a couple of packs of hounds. We would be on bear everyday for sure. Yes, if a group of guys want to come up and Run bears on a all inclusive guided hunt and bring your own dogs I definitely do that. I offer Grizzly bear, Lynx Bobcat and Mt.lion.
