Maybe what we should all be doing with these coon contests is anybody who knows how to process/cook coons should do that and offer them to all the people living in the tent city in Sacto.

That is a very good idea. I will see when alex visits his homeless friend if they wouldnt mind it. I have tried coon boiled and then baked it in the oven with bbq sause over it and it was pretty good.
