YES we can stop it.At this point its only a bill.We get enough phone call into Charleston opposing it and WE CAN KILL IT.Make that call and spread the word to others to make the call.Takes less than 2 mins.Tell them you are calling to oppose HB3063.They will ask your name address and phone number,thats it. We have killed bills before this way we can do it again.

Either way this turns out NO,you "can not shoot or kill any bear accompanied by a cub or any cub so accompanied regardless of its weight;"

Hope you guys can defeat this!!!! I can't imagine a houndsman/woman taking a bear this small but can see someone that has never seen a bear before getting excited and doing this. My gosh, a 50# dressed weight bear isn't as big as most of the dogs on it. This makes no sense, but trying to figure how people think gets more difficult by the day.

I see were they amended the bill 3063 yesterday but not where the changed the weight limit unless I'm looking at it wrong. I'm assuming its still 75 and 50 ???

yep your right, If anyone hasnt called please call now.Ive emailed several delegates and senators.Its looking more and more like they are tryin to railroad this one thru.There are 18 other bills in natural resources committee that have beeen there longer,this bill has already cleared and went to Judicary.

Well lets just hope that most hunters won't kill one that small. The only good thing I see happening this year is that we're not having the early season so maybe ,hopefully most of the small ones goes to den early. That's probably the only way they'll live.

For everybody that opposed the law change thats good ,but it doesn't matter now. It passed the senate April 10, now its awaiting the Governor's signature .
