I just bought an astro 220 with one collar. I need more collars do they only come in black or is there somwhere that you can get diffrent colored collars. How do you mark which collar is for which dog or does it matter?

All the collars are the same collar. I used an engraver to mark the steel back plate of the collar with the name of the dog it belongs to. I also attached brass plates to the nylon collar for ID purposes. The only time it really matters is when you're in the field and trying to figure out which dog is where.

Thats a good idea about the engraving. I will give that a try. Probably put the name plates on too. Thanks for the info.

I use electric tape (different colors) and tape over the Garmin Logo the color that belongs to each of my dogs.
Personally I dont like ever having anything related to the dog, name wise, because I dont want people knowing my dogs names.

I agree with you on this. The name plates I use have my name and info for that reason.

Colored electrical shrink wrap on the antenna or the collar itself works great for me.

You have all the good idea!!! I like the shrink tube on the ant. I just got the rest of the collars the other day. Now all I have is a big mess that I can't figure out how to use. I tried reading the directions and got more confused. I hope it isn't that hard to use when I get in the woods. My hunting buddys will be making fun of me when I have my nose shoved in the manual the whole hunt.
