As of March 16, the state of California laid off 60 out of 220 wardens. Shoot poachers on sight! I'll pay more to hunt bear and I'll gladly pay to hunt cougar in my home state.
Let's quit paying for illegal immigrants, corrupt politicians, and greedy money men bailouts. God bless America! Pete Meyer

They probably should go to harvest objective on the lions in California to help pay their bills it sounds like--maybe a couple thousand a tag or so!

Ca will never get to hunt lions again. It would have to go back to the voters again. Prop 117 (which outlawed lion hunting) passed by 52 to 48%. It would be much worse today. After 117 passed, I actually caught more lions every year in CA. on depridation permits then ever before. That was 15 years ago, don't know what it is like out there now.

Lions everywhere i go....Killing my horses and sheep and Fish and game wont renew my permit until a lion kills one more animal... How shitty is that. I have been paying for all available tags and licenses every year since i was old enough to and they could care less about us.

Yea, I was out in California visiting family when that Prop 117 was in the news. Matter fact, one relative by marriage had a voting booklet laying there and I got to read the for and against on the upcoming vote of prop 117. And I also can remember how mad it made me..........
There are alot of good people in California, or at least about 48 percent of them are good anyway..........

I wish it was still 48% I would say now its more like 20% all the good ones move out as fast as they can to a state were the Anti hunters dont rule the polls. A bill can pass or fail here just based off how they vote in LA and Orange county's.

Where did the info. about the Game Warden lay offs come from? I've searched and asked and am unable to confirm that anything like that actually happened. Not saying it didn't but no one seems to know anything about it. Let me know the source if you can. Thanks.
