I have three young dogs, my hunting buddy has two, all are under two years old. my male is the oldest, almost two a female at 18 months and a pup at 10 months. i have worked with my male and the pup at strikeing of the box. the male does a better job my buddies blue dog also does well, but for a dog to start the track i don't know. my male does a good job while training but is high strung and will over run the track and spends time circling to pick it back up. the pup on the other hand is doing well for her age she trails very well and trees pretty strong. she is alot calmer and sticks to a track much steadier (in training) so i think she may be a better choice to start a bear track. i am new to the game and don't really alot about bear hunting, and i want to make the most of my oppertunities, which should i start to have the best chance??? i know it's alot to ask of such young dogs but they all i have. what should i do.
