The difference of Cur's

What are the difference between the American Leopard Cur and the Catahoula Leopard cur? Or are they basically the same.and I read where I believe the UKC changed the status of the American Leopard Cur to American Leopard Hound, would that change anything as far as it still being considered a cur? I found Randy Oller's site but hav'nt emailed him yet,I hear he knows quite a bit about leopard cur's.
