I was with Pat on this hunt. Although I was a little to late to turn loose at the begining and to proud to turn my dogs into what we thought was a tree, I got to watch some fine dog work. His dogs bayed that bear for a long time with him and I watching. They are the real deal and I am thankful for being able to watch dogs do it right and do it until they were pulled off.

Definatly some sweet pics. Did you put the smoke stick to the bear once it was treed or are you not allowed to shoot them yet. Either way it was sweet.

Nope the hunters i have for this spring just didnt happen to be up there at the time so i left him to tree for next time..

Luke, i have been hunting a little bit of both but this bear was up north

MAN PAT, THAT IS A HOG!!! That is a good one for the hounds this early in the season.
