I used to live in Temecula and I hunted in San Gorgonio, out of the town of Banning. There are a lot of small bears in there but no one dogs them so they pop right up the tree. I don't know anyone in the area that has hounds but I know of a guy that used to ride a long with me just to be with the hounds and tag one. If you want his information let me know. Good luck!

fenixtx: Their is still plenty bear & coonhunters down south just know where to look. look on chc web site for clubs in that area.

If your looking to meet other Houndsmen in Southern California ? Then you may want to go to a meeting of the Southern California Houndsmen Association. We meet the first Tuesday of every month at the Bass Pro Shop in the upstairs confrence room. I believe the next meeting is this next Tuesday.
