Wondering if any one on here knows what line of reg. walkers Herschal Joyner ran/runs and/or breeds. Preferably around 1999-2001 or even to this day.

Have'nt kept up on him for yrs but he use to breed along the lines of house breeding, I think lipper lived out his last days at his place, he also did some loose bruce cross's and some running blood cross's, its hard to say, hes bred alot of different ways and in that time frame, it would be tought to pinpoint one way or the other.

He was breeding a lot out of one of the Lipper dogs (I'm not sure which one he owned, there was more than one dog named Lipper) and doing a lot of crossing with Triggs around that time. I hunted with quite a few dogs that came from him around that time. I didn't like them they had some good qualities but some major faults also. But you need to know what the breeding is of the dogs you are interested in because he bred several different strains. Most of the ones I was around were Lipper and Trigg crosses. They were very fast but they never shut their mouth and were bad to jack the track from the tree. But they were also natural strike dogs. I don't know which traits came from which side.

Well how about out of a litter he had around 6/2000. I own a dog and did some investigating on her breeding and they guy that raised her said he bought her from Herschel Joyner. She was papered but he never sent in the puppy papers and well the rest is history from there.

Last time I talked with him he still had Lipper in his Freezer

yep thats right in his freezer and he was trying to collect Lipper dogs up close. So I would say he was running heavy Lipper dogs.
