Intenational Shipping - South America; Who's done it?

I have two puppies from my next litter, whenever it might be, lined up to go down to Venezuela, South America.

I've done shipping and Certs, and all that. But wanted to know if anyone's done it, and knows if there is any special requirements. The guy if very patient and easy to work with, just not very good english. I'm sure it'll cost him a fourtune, and he's willing, I just need to know ahead of time what I might be getting myself into. Cause I know requirements on shipping animals to certain places is just not worth all the headache.

I just shipped two puppies to South Africa. My advice would be to hire a pet booking agent in South Venezuela. They will be familiar with the import regulations concerning their country. The vet. requirements of the country they are going to are the key to the process and are different for a every country; and a shipping agent there should be able to assist you with not only the requirements, but also the proper government forms.

This is what I did for South Africa. I actually have two pups coming in from South Africa tommorow, and this is also what we did for them also.

Hey Casandra,
I shipped my dog a while back to South America, Ecuador; I did not experience any problems.

I basically paid all the shipping fees and had someone pick him up at the airport.
I suggest calling customs and ask the airline what their restrictions and policies are. Your receiving party should contact customs and clear the puppies arrival.
Good Luck...
