I have recently heard that Mr. Cameron is about to hang it up as far as raising more dogs. Have any others heard this? If so who is going to carry the torch?

No, Liontracker is going to be too busy. He may raise a few select crosses along with his French connection project but he won't have time for mass marketing. He has another project in his future that is going to take a lot of his energies shall we say. LOL!

Oh by the way I don't know anything and I can prove it. LOL!

No 40 Creek for me old buddy I gave it all up cept for maybe a little Yellow Tail with you on occasiona.

Here is one for the trivia buffs about a Big N Blue, you tell me who?

King went a-runnin' after deer
Wasn't scared of jumpin' off the truck in high gear
King went a-sniffin' and he would go
Was the best old hound dog I ever did know.

I had a dog and his name was King
I told the dog about everything
There in my truck the dog and I
Then one day the King up and died.

Then I thought about the times we had
Once when I kicked him when he was bad
Old King sure meant a lot to me
But that hound dog is history.

King went a-runnin' after deer
Wasn't scared of jumpin' off the truck in high gear
King went a-sniffin' and he would go
Was the best old hound dog I ever did know.

That old King was a friend of mine
Never knew a dog that was half as fine
I may find one, you never do know
'Cause I still got a long way to go.

I had a dog and his name was King
I told the dog about everything
Old King sure meant a lot to me
But that hound dog is history.

King went a-howlin' after deer
Wasn't scared of jumpin' off the truck in high gear
King went a-sniffin' and he would go
Was the best old hound dog I ever did know.

This ode to a deer running trashy bluetick was written and performed by none other than ( neil young cira 1992 harvest moon).

I would hate to tell old Neil but my ode to King would have been like that old Hank Williams son about that pesky fly.

Well there is enough folks out there selling "Cameron Bred" dogs. A guy told me he had some full "Cameron Bred" pups for sale. His pups looked more like Walkers that Blueticks. I thought hmmm never seen a dog like that is Del's book LOL. It shame people try to capitalize off of a man's hard work. He spends his whole life hunting and breeding and trying to perfect a line of dogs only to have people trying to sell Cameron bred dogs that arn't anymore Cameron bred than my dogs.

I think Del produced a fine line of dogs (at least all the ones I hunted with were). Hopefully there will be a few folks who keep his line going and honor the mans work

hey mike the sebastion bloodline still lives so i hear and well this may be a way to resurect the choice breed of blueticks in this century as del thought that this bloodline was good enough in the fifties so my research tells me. i can forward a number if anyone is interested.

I have to agree with bvg about Crazy Cascade Blueticks looking the part; it’s interesting how Steve Phipps' webpage is so similar to Del's.

I got a pup from liontracker a few years ago and was very happy! But I'd like to get my next pup from Steve Phipps since he's so much closer to me than liontracker.

Does anyone have any dogs from Steve? I'd love to know how they are doing for other people.

Thanks,
R.M.

Glad you liked the pup R.M.

The Crazy Cascade resemblence to the Cameron site is uncanny.
