Ive got the appointment made with the vet already. I notoced a peanut sized lump, bump or tumor looking thing close to the tip of one of my females tongue. Its slightly lighter in color than the rest of her tongue. There is no ulceration or open wound associated with it and its relatively firm. I know its hasnt been there too long. I would have noticed it before. Cancer or not its gonna come off. I cant look at the dog anymore without staring at it so its gotta go. Any guesses as to the vets conclusion this week?

Curious, I've been raising and training dogs of different breeds for years and never seen a bump on a tongue like you've descibed. I have seen where a dog has bitten his tongue and a sist looking bump shows up but it is obivious that the tongue was bitten.

Let us know,

Tony

just a wart. Vet says its no biggie. But I have to say that the wart discusts me and I might vomit if the dog licks my face when im not paying attention.

I avoid any licking of the face, considering they lick their own ass
