Senate Bill SB-2099 will

requi re us to put on our 2009 1040 federal tax form all guns that you

have or own. It will require fingerprints and a tax of $50 per gun.

This bill was introduced on Feb.. 24, 2009, by the Obama staff. BUT . .

this bill will only become public knowledge 30 days after the new law

becomes effective ! This is an amendment to the Internal

Revenue Act o f 1986. This means that the Finance Committee has

passed this without the Senate voting on it at all.

Trust Obama ? ..... you must be kidding !

'political' lawmakers did not read this bill before signing and approving it !

Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sales Act of 2009. You will get

all the information.

Basically this would make it illegal to own a firearm - any rifle with a clip or ANY pistol unless:

It is registered -You are fingerprinted -You supply a current Driver's License

-You supply your Social Security # -You will submit to a physical & mental

evaluation at any time of their choosing -Each update - change or ownership through private or public sale must be reported and costs

$25 - Failure to do so you automatically lose the right to own a

firearm and are subject up to a year in jail. -There is a child

provision clause on page 16 section 305 stating a child-access

provision. Gun must be locked and inaccessible to any child under 18.

-They would have the right to come and inspect that you are storing

your gun safely away from accessibility to children and fine is

punishable for up to 5 yrs. in prison.

This is just a "termite"

approach to complete confiscation of guns and disarming of our society

to the point we have no defense - chip away a little here and there

until the goal is accomplished before anyone realizes it.

all bills have to be passed by the entire senate. it can't get amended after it's been passed unless you pass another bill to do so. it has to be passed in identical form in both houses. and all bills to creat ANY tax are required by the constitution to originate in the house. so this is probably BS.

I just read the bill to the best of my comprehension abilities. It looks like what everyone thinks. Sounds like it proposes criminal penalties to anybody who dosent register all firearms in our possetion as to be listed in our next years taxes.. Any gun not registerd will be illegal to posses All legal guns possesed would be taxed. Essentially you would be commiting a crime if you didnt register yourself as a firearm owner.

I have seen nothing from the NRA on this. If this was going on, it would be in the news. My two cents.

I have not read the bill yet but it would not surprise me to see Obama do something like that.

If something like this does come to pass, I would only hope that the gun owners of America would not comply. A show of force is just what the new gov't needs to see, in order to fully understand the ramifications of this type of action. As previously posted, the vast majority of law inforcement and military will not stand against us, but for us. I suspect a mass protest, numbering in the millions, toting guns would humble them.

i compare gun registration to the Nazis getting member lists from the synagogues and going house to house to collect the jews. it will be the same deal when they come to take aways our guns.
