Re: anyone hunt back county for bears with little road still
This is the reason why when the GPS first came out we were a little skeptical because of the short battery life. Up here in the Kootenays we have some nasty "NO MANS LAND" we call it where we would loose dogs for a week or more sometimes. Although this was very rare. Sometimes helicopters were used ...

Last time I called they said they hadnt heard of the problem yet. I had called them the month prior and told them. So ...

Thanks. Ill try thatroscosrokons wrote:I leave mine on the 2.5 second update and it shows treed. Actually it shows treed a little too quick I think. It seems like my dogs don't have to be still for very long and it shows treed. I have my point alert turned off and my treed alert set on vibrate.

Re: New Garmin Tracking/Shocking System
Myself and a friend have been running the Alpha 100 system since December and neither of us have had it show treed yet when dogs are treeing. Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem. They replaced the unit for me no problem but didnt fix the issue. Im thinking it must be the collars ...

Re: "Hondnem" my brothers dry ground Dinky female
I helped out a biologist for a couple days this winter collaring cats up here in B.C. He was telling me that the best way to determine age on a cat is to measure the k9 drop. He said roughly count every millimeter of tooth drop for every year of age. so that would make this cat around 9.5 years old ...

Re: breed of catdog
Hello all, I have hunted cats fairly heavily up here in B.C for about 15 years and have mainly used plotts to catch most of our cats over the years and have had plenty of success. I have also ran with a lot of walkers which had no real problem. Although the best cats dogs I have seen for running ...
