Re: BAITING BEARS
I use doughnuts and sweet feed with grease . I fill 5 gallon buckets 3/4 to the top with sweet feed then fill them up to the top with grease and let them sit for a couple of days then top them off again . I don't use meat for bait because of wolves and coyotes coming to baits .

Need a Marshall collar re built .
Well season is on and my " newer" Marshall bit the big one . My Johnsons have done much better for me . Any how , I have 4 dogs and 3 collars and no Garmins so I need this one fixed quick . What's my best bet for a quick turnaround ? I'm out of southwest Idaho . Thanks in advance .

My 2012 Idaho wolf
Shot him near Midvale Sunday . 135# or so . The scale we had was clipping out . Calling didn't pay so we glassed saddles above a calving operation . Got him at 250 yards . Now I can get back to cats !

Just a wood box that used to be on my flatbed ranger . Fits between the wheel well with room for my toolbox . Go figure .

Re: Best Bait For Pine Martin
In marten season I always switch to eating fried chicken for lunch everyday just for the bones and skin . Any greasy meat is good . I usually use muskrat carcasses if I have 'em .

Re: Toyota Parts
Just got one. The parts guy at Foss Motors in Casper was a real sweetheart and made some calls, said it wasn't easy, but he found me one in Denver at a wrecking yard and it only cost me $15.00 plus shipping. :D Said that the older 22R engines are obsolete so getting parts like this for them is ...

Re: males or females ?
I hunt both but like the females better. Have you ever seen a bitch fight? They will slap, pull hair and call names, lol.
The downfall is have to leave them at home when in heat or having pups.
That got me laughin' . I have one male . I love the ladies for sure . Though I do have an old redbone ...
