They are 8 weeks old. Have had their dew claws removed, tails tipped, first shot and wormed twice. $200. I ...

Nevada bear hunt?
How is the hunt going this year? Are they catching some big bears again? My neighbor has a tag. He tried to call one in a couple of times with no luck. Hopefully he starts putting some serious effort into it.

Re: Montana Lion Season Conflict
Its a touchy situation. Here in Nevada we have approx. 5 1/2 months of the year where other big game hunts are open with lion season. Deer, Elk, Antelope, Desert, Rocky mtn, California bighorn sheep, and Mtn. goat seasons. Some of these tag holders have waited 20 plus years to get these tags. I feel ...

Re: S#@t talking and rumors?
Hard work and success is never rewarded with compliments these days. I bet the guys talking only hunt the day after the storms and perfect conditions and are drinking beer flapping their gums when you are out catching game. Congratulations on your success as a new hound man. If you hit that side of ...

The mining industry in Nevada is on the increase due to the high gold prices. All of the big gold companies are increasing their work force. The greatest amount of activity is in the norther part of the state around Elko, Carlin, and Winnemucca. Some of the major producers are Newmont, Barrick ...

Re: IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION FOR NEVADA
This is 3rd hand info but it sounds like we kept our bear hunt with hounds, we will still be able to hunt lions 24 hrs a day 365 days a yr, but they cut the lion quota somewhere around 50% even though the bioligist stated that the lion population is good. Like I said ths is 3rd hand info. I have not ...

Re: outrun by a female again
Im not sure how far away the other road was, but if it is within a couple of miles of the first place you ran her my guess is that she has kittens right there somewhere. Keep a close eye on her tracks she will move them after being chased. If you catch her and she is real nervous, moving around in ...

Re: southern native trying to make do in NV
There are plenty of lions in the Mtns. around LV. Just get out there and look for tracks. When you find one start walking it up with your dog. If it has any hunt desire in it then it will catch on pretty quick. Good luck
