As for my own dogs, I won't have them if they don't handle and mind well, from coming when they are called to loading-up and not jerking you around when your leading them, I've seen a lot of dogs that have no manners and are a pain in the butt for the handler to deal with.

Plenty of lions in the mountains but even more around the house's where the deer are, last year it snowed on Thursday afternoon until 9:00pm, I couldn't get out until Saturday after driving 30 miles + in 6" to 12" of snow I cut 4 deer and 1 lion track, but down around the house at 1800 ft elevation ...

This is a great place for a field trial, there is usaully water on site for the dogs (a small pond) and lots of room to camp, it's about 25-30 miles from La Grand.
