If you own a bear dog that will pull hair out of every bear it runs you really got a one of a kind, hold on to that dog. many great dogs wont get but just a few feet from a mean bear. I think a true bear dog knows how to push a bear when it counts and that's how you catch lots of bears. also the guy...

44 lever gun 300 grain hard cast or 444 lever gun. never shot a bear more then once with them two bear killers or even the 30-30 works good.

sounds like you are doing good to me.... i run mine 1-2 time a week for about 6-8 miles each time, at about 14-18 mph, in the off season. i try to not break them down to bad but make them feel it a little

I am getting a topper again pup to.... just hit the ground getting it in sep. I like House breed walkers or Neosho River walkers, that's what i am running now. but i am open to any flavor of walker as long as its out of good hunting stock.
